Think of your business as something for the collective good, and whatever the stakeholders or whomever the stakeholders are - employees, clients, society, etc. It was performed for the benefit of the collective good. In old age, or in the olden days, there was yagna. It’s very deep thinking that everybody must do to understand what’s the purpose and how is it going to benefit. That way stress and anxiety come down significantly. This means that you're not doing a business to benefit you personally. It's deep thinking every entrepreneur will have to do - why are you building this business, and again, the outcome or the idea that you are shooting for your business as you keep pushing it higher and higher, and away from you. The second shift is towards deeply thinking about the purpose of business. ![]() This eliminates a lot of anxiety and stress, because you're not sort of worried about the outcome all the time, you're focused on what you must do.Īnd you do that to the best of your abilities. So, that's one of the central realizations and a constant reminder for me. You can't control the outcome, so you should not get attached to the outcome.
